We were so pleased with your service when we were there. I have posted on Trip Advisor and got a question back from some folks. Just got an email back that they booked a van for 8 people based on my private comments back to her after she read my review. More than happy to support a business that was responsive and kind to us when we booked you. We will continue to use you when we are lucky enough to be back on the island. Keep up the good work!

We booked a private tour for our stop on our cruise. We were greeted by Domingo who was waiting to take us around the island. He was very knowledgable and was great answering all our questions about the island. He was very flexible with our tour and took us to all the places we wanted to see and even worked in extra stops.
I would definitely book another tour the next time we visit the island. You won’t find a better guide.

Aline was very accommodating with our specific requests. We didn’t want a standard tour with start and stop times. She was flexible and willing to stay longer when necessary and take us wherever we wanted to go. She was our driver for the entire day so there was no waiting for random drivers to pick us up. I would definitely recommend D & A Taxi to anyone visiting St Maarten. There were 8 people in our party and this is definitely the way to go to keep your group together

Aline was great. Taxi was clean, on time and air conditioned. We didn’t want a pre-planned tour, and she was awesome at accommodating this request! We wanted to be able to stay at places as long as we wanted… If this is what you are looking for this is the way to go! We will recommend D&A taxi to friends who travel to this area… She has cold waters in a cooler for you- if you are wanting rum punch or other refreshments that other taxi services offer then I’d ask if she can stock this for you… If unable too- the trade off of a great driver is worth it- she lets you bring beverages of your own in the car!

We booked D&A Taxi for a private tour for 4 of us, while our cruise ship was docked in St Maarten. We made the reservation before our cruise started and he was very responsive to my emails.
Domingo was excellent, from start to finish. He arrived 30 minutes prior to the designated time, allowing us to get an early start. We left it all up to him, just saying that we wanted to see the highlights of both sides of the island, and also have time to snorkel. The van was spotless & in tip-top condition; he was very flexible and professional throughout the day. He provided great information about the sights. He was also gracious when we ran a bit longer than the agreed-upon time span for the booking.
We were very pleased with his services and highly recommend him. We found this to be a preferable (and cost-effective) alternative to the ship’s excursions, allowing us maximum flexibility & independence.

Highlight of our trip!”
After comparing various ground transportation options in St. Maarten/Martin, we decided to give D & A a try. From the start, communication with Domingo & Aline was excellent; we received prompt responses to our questions in an accurate and friendly manner. Our group was quite large (a family of 10) and I wanted to insure that we were comfortable during our tour. Upon arrival to the SXM cruise port, Aline was THE ONLY company with a proper name-sign that was professionally printed and correctly spelled. We had zero problems finding her. She politely introduced herself to every member of our family and promptly escorted us to the 2 waiting vehicles. The appearance of the vehicles and respective drivers was immaculate; clean, modern, water, gum, air-conditioning, uniformed drivers and even a mini-public address system so that all passengers could hear the tour. We had a wonderful tour of both the Dutch and French side and were encouraged to make stops and take pictures. Aline and Domingo were EXTREMELY informative and provided us with a great product. I will not hesitate to use D & A for any future tours, airport/cruise transfers or VIP transportation needs. Excellent Job guys!

We encountered Domingo within minutes of the statue at the cruise port for him to take us from the cruise ship to Orient Beach. We have stayed on the island twice and been there on cruise ships twice before. We knew exactly what we wanted and he picked us up and took us there and was a dream! Unfortunately Mother Nature was not cooperating with the beach in early Dec., but Domingo told us of the recent hurricane and weather. You just can’t fight mother nature! We agreed on a time to get back to the ship and he was right there to pick us up. Sure enough, there was an accident right in front of us on the way back blocking the road. Had we been keeping it to a tight time frame of an hour vs. what he recommended (well, we might have missed the ship!). There is ONLY ONE road around the island so you need to be experienced like Domingo to make sure you get back! He was totally awesome and we will use D&A again and again when we come back to our favorite island! Thank you Domingo! P.S. – the taxi is a new van with great A/C and very clean! Towels on the floor to collect sand if going to beaches. Just a first class operation. No regrets and I will recommend them again and again to all my friends. Sorry it took me a month to post this for you Domingo!
We have cruised many times to St. Maarten, but this year we traveled to this location twice because we simply fell in love with the people , atmosphere and numerous activities available. Some of those favourite people are Aline and Domingo who are the owners of D & A taxi services.
We use these folks exclusively when we travel the island for many of the reasons mentioned in other reviews but for us it is because they are just plain nice people. Domingo does the short trips every day while Aline is the tour person. Both are always on time for a reason, they know the island and when traffic is going to busy. Pricing is consistent for their service and their vehicles are always clean because they take pride in what they do.
When I say they know the island I should mention they also know many of the people who live there, good places to eat and activities that are available. They also like to hear about your experiences so new travelers get the latest information.
I would recommend these good people to any one who are planning a visit to St. Maarten. I would however call ahead to book them.
Oh, and to Domingo thanks a lot for making my birthday week one of my best weeks ever

I would like to highly recommend D&A Taxi Services. In mid-November, my family and I visited St. Martin on a Cruise Ship excursion. We had with us, 3 children under the age of 6 years, and the taxi service arrived with car seats already installed and had been especially prepared for us. We did not request the car seats, and we were thrilled to discover these were available for our short trip from our ship to the Westin Hotel. D&A Taxi Service arrived on time and our driver (D) was friendly, informative, and drove us safely to our hotel. We were picked up on time, and we were delivered back to our ship.
I would highly recommend D&A Taxi Services if you are visiting St. Martin. The company is professional, timely, affordable and clean.

We hired D&A to take us from the cruise terminal to Pinel Island on August 12th, 2014. I found it very convenient that D&A had a US phone number that I could use to contact them directly. Domingo was very helpful on the phone working out all of the arrangements with me. He even sent me a photo of where they would pick me up at the cruise terminal. Working with D&A was so easy; they picked us up right on time at the terminal, they even had a sign with our name on it. Aline was very professional and courteous and the van was very new and clean. Aline got us to Pinel Island right on schedule and picked us up on schedule a few hours later to return us back.
Both Domingo and Aline (D and A) were courteous, honest and very professional. If you have transportation needs on St Maarten look no further than D&A.
What a wonderful way to see St. Maartin. We arrived early afternoon by cruise ship and Aline met us exactly when and where she said she would. Spent 4 hours seeing the island and costing much less than the ship charged for less of an excursion. Made several stops with plenty of time to to observe local sites. Stopped at Sunset Beach and watched aircraft, including a jumbo jet, land. What a unique experience. D and A operate a professional, extremely well run service with lots of personal attention. Thanks for a great afternoon. If you are in St. Maartin do not hesitate to use this taxi and tour service.
We booked with Aline for April 29, 2014 while sailing on the Norwegian Getaway. Aline was exactly on time and we took off in her clean and air conditioned van. Unlike most drivers, she took the reverse course around the island, which reduces traffic tie ups. She stops at Orient Beach and other beaches and gives you some time to look at the beautiful locations. She gave us plenty of time at Marigot outdoor shopping area and then on to Sunset Beach. We were ready to leave Sunset, however she pointed out that the daily 747 KLM aircraft was due in soon and we should stay for it. We did, while she waited, and it was a memorable sight to see this aircraft landing over the famous beach area.
I have NO hesitation in recommending you book with Aline at D&A Taxi in St. Maatin.
Aline was awesome. Great customer service! We felt as though we had a personal driver and tour guide for the day without over paying. We arrived in port and stumbled across Aline and the rest of our time on the island was worry free. We highly suggest a visit to the Orient Bay Beach.
Book Arline if you can, you wont regret it! 🙂

Pete found the safe key in his pants when we got on the plane so he still had to Fed Ex keys back.
